NEW MEDIT is an open-access scientific journal published quarterly by CIHEAM. It is a renewed version of the journal Medit, initially released in 1990 by CIHEAM Bari.
NEW MEDIT provides a forum for presentation and discussion of applied research in the field of resource and environmental economics, market studies, regional economics, innovation and development economics.
It aims to provide multi-disciplinary and interconnected insights into the economic and social transformations of agriculture, rural societies, and sustainable agro-food systems and networks in the Mediterranean Basin.
The articles are published in English and French and are submitted to a double-blind peer-reviewed procedure before being published in the Journal.
NEW MEDIT is run by an Editorial Board representing a wide range of professional and scientific backgrounds from several Mediterranean countries.
